Magnetic proximity sensor + magnet (ref. 3218 and 3219), replacement pair for the safety/position-control system. The sensor detects the magnet without contact and enables the machine only with guards in position. Check connector and size against the original part.
Kit consisting of proximity sensor and magnet (ref. 3218 and 3219), a replacement pair for the safety and position-control system of food-processing machines. The magnetic proximity sensor detects the presence of the matching magnet without contact: when the magnet (mounted on a carriage, guard or lid) moves away, the sensor opens the circuit and prevents or stops operation, ensuring the machine only runs with the guards in position.
Working by magnetic contact, with no rubbing mechanical parts, it is reliable and resistant to cleaning. Failure symptoms: the machine will not start even with the guards closed, or it does not stop when they are opened (a hazardous condition). In these cases the sensor and magnet should be replaced as a pair to ensure correct detection.
