Basket for the 8-litre RGV fryer (code 89998). It is the wire-mesh basket in which the food to be fried is immersed: it holds the product, lowers and raises it from the oil evenly and allows draining at the end of cooking. The metal mesh withstands the high temperatures of the oil.
With use the basket can deform, oxidise or get damaged at the handle/hook; a deformed basket does not lower correctly into the tank and makes frying awkward. Replacing it restores convenience and safe use.
