Safety shield between the hand and the blade during slicing: mandatory component, to be replaced if broken or missing. Hole centre distance 14.9 cm (measurement to check for compatibility). The carriage stop spring is the mechanical replacement part for the sliding carriage locking assembly of model 350 gravity slicers. It works together with the carriage locking knob/pin and ensures its return to position, keeping the product plate steady when the carriage is unlocked for disassembly or cleaning.

- Component of the sliding carriage locking assembly
It should be replaced when the original spring has lost its elasticity or has broken: in these cases the carriage no longer returns properly to position or does not stay locked, with a risk of accidental movement while the product plate is removed.
