V-belt 6x425 (part no. AGWSCIN0012), replacement part for slicers. This is a trapezoidal (V-section) drive belt with a section (width) of approx. 6 mm and a length (development) of 425 mm. The wedge profile lets the belt seat into the V-grooves of the pulleys, providing a firm grip and slip-free power transmission.
Its function is to transfer motion from the electric motor to the assembly that drives the blade: the driving pulley pulls the belt, which in turn spins the flywheel connected to the circular blade, ensuring a smooth, continuous cut.
Symptoms that call for replacement: squealing or whistling on start-up, a blade that turns in jerks or stalls under load, slipping, cracking, frayed sides or a glazed contact surface.
