A worn belt shows up as slipping, squealing on start-up, a slower blade, cracks on the belt flanks or rubber dust in the pulley: these are the signs it needs replacing. To identify the correct spare, measure the belt to be replaced, checking both the section (8 mm) and the length (430 mm).
