Euromec dial scales are mechanical scales with a dial face, common in butcher shops, delicatessens and food stores, where the weight is shown by a pointer that rotates over a graduated dial, similar to the hands of a clock. The pointer is mounted on the pin connected to the scale's internal mechanism (the spring assembly that flexes in proportion to the applied weight) and translates its movement into a visual reading on the dial.
