The blade cover tie rod type 250 (145 mm) is the threaded tie rod that secures and holds the blade cover in place on 250-class slicers. Screwed onto the machine body, it locks the guard that covers the non-cutting edge of the blade, giving it both a structural and a safety role: a properly tightened blade cover prevents accidental contact with the blade edge during cleaning and maintenance.
This component is subject to wear and mechanical stress: over time the thread can strip, or the rod can bend or develop play, leaving the blade cover loose or misaligned. In such cases it should be replaced to restore the correct hold of the guard and safe operation. Installation is direct, replacing the original tie rod of matching size.
