This pin connects and secures the blade cover (the guard that protects the blade's non-cutting edge) to the slicer body: it ensures correct positioning and locking, an essential element for the safe use of the machine. The blade cover serves a safety function and must always be kept firmly fastened.
This is an adaptable (aftermarket) spare part, not declared as an original branded part: the ABM brand and models 330/350/370 indicate intended compatibility. It mounts via the 15x15 square connection; it has a diameter of 12 and M8 thread, both external and internal, allowing coupling with the blade-cover assembly components.
Replace it when the thread is stripped, the pin is bent, or there is excessive play: in such cases the blade cover no longer fastens correctly, creating a safety risk for the operator.
