The blade protection ring surrounds the outer edge of the blade, leaving only the portion needed for cutting accessible — an extra layer of safety on top of the blade cover alone.

Available versions: simple ring, or a ring support with built-in sharpener (for models without a separate fixed sharpener) — check which version your slicer uses.

Mounting screws: the screws that fix the ring to the machine are also available separately, useful if only those are damaged or lost.
