Coarse-grit abrasive grinding wheel, size 40x10x6 mm (Ø40 / thickness 10 / bore 6), for the sharpener unit of Kolossal slicers and compatible models. It is the stone that sharpens the blade edge by removing metal; it works together with the fine-grit wheel (finishing). Replace when worn or glazed and no longer sharpening. Check the three dimensions against the wheel currently fitted.
Abrasive grinding wheel, 40x10x6 mm, coarse grit, for the sharpener unit of Kolossal slicers and compatible models. It is the stone that, fitted in the sharpener assembly, restores the edge of the circular blade.
Dimensions. Diameter 40 mm, thickness 10 mm, center hole 6 mm. These are the three measurements that determine compatibility: compare them with the wheel currently fitted before purchasing.
Coarse grit. This is the coarse-grit wheel, the one that performs the actual sharpening by removing metal and re-forming the cutting edge. It normally works together with the fine-grit wheel, which finishes the edge and removes burrs: if the sharpener has both fitted, they should be replaced together once worn.
When to replace it. When the wheel is worn, glazed or no longer sharpens: its diameter shrinks and the blade stays dull even after sharpening.
Compatibility. Kolossal and compatible slicers fitted with a Ø40, 6 mm bore grinding wheel.
