Fine-grit sharpening stone (emery wheel) for the sharpener unit of FIA Boston slicers and compatible models. Diameter 47 mm, thickness 7 mm, centre hole 6 mm.
The fine grain is designed for blade finishing: it is used after the initial sharpening pass with a coarse-grain stone, to refine the edge and leave it perfectly smooth and sharp without removing excess metal. This is the final step of the sharpening cycle, ensuring a clean cut and extending blade life.
Fits the sharpener assembly of FIA Boston slicers and other compatible models using stones with the same dimensions (47x7x6 mm).
Replace it when worn or glazed (shiny surface that no longer removes material), or when the blade no longer comes out sharp after sharpening: a worn stone reduces sharpening effectiveness and can damage the blade edge.
