Safety shield between the hand and the blade during slicing: mandatory component, to be replaced if broken or missing. Hole centre distance 14.9 cm (measurement to check for compatibility). Specific to FAC/Swedlinghaus, not interchangeable with RGV models.

Safety part to replace when the rubber is hardened or no longer grips; replacing all four is recommended. Not to be confused with the small 5 mm foot.
Large suction-cup foot with 8 mm (M8) thread, 35 mm height, for slicers. This is the oversized version of the support foot, suited to heavier slicers (the category includes Swedlinghaus spare parts) and to all machines fitted with this mount.
What it's for. The rubber suction-cup foot anchors the slicer to the work surface and absorbs its vibrations: on large, heavy machines this is even more important for stability and safety, because the moving mass of the blade tends to make the machine "walk".
When to replace it. When the rubber is hardened, cracked or no longer holds suction and the slicer slips or vibrates. It's best to change all four feet together to keep the base perfectly level.
Sizes. 8 mm (M8) thread, 35 mm height, large format. Not to be confused with the small 5 mm foot: before ordering, check the screw diameter and height against the one currently fitted.
