PVC diffuser filter for water softener taps, for lower and upper position: spreads the water flow through the resin bed and keeps it from escaping. Ref. 6.001.034.

The PVC diffuser filter for water softener taps is the component that regulates and distributes the water flow inside the softener body, ensuring even pass-through of the resin bed during service and regeneration cycles. Thanks to its calibrated slots, it retains the resin and prevents it from escaping, spreading the water evenly and ensuring proper contact between water and resin for effective softening.

This spare part, ref. 6.001.034, is made of PVC and can be used in either the lower or the upper position of the softener body, fitting manual resin softeners equipped with taps.

Replacement is recommended when the original diffuser is clogged with limescale or deposits, cracked or broken, or when resin loss from the system or reduced softening performance is noticed. In these cases, replacing the diffuser restores proper flow distribution and keeps the resin contained inside the softener body.
