The product press is the arm that holds and pushes cold cuts, cheese or meat against the blade while slicing: this handle is the knob the operator grips and screws onto the arm's threaded stud to move the carriage and adjust the pressure on the food, ensuring even slices and safe operation.

When to replace it: daily use and frequent washing can crack or chip the handle, or strip its thread, compromising grip and operator safety. If the knob wobbles, no longer screws down fully or shows breakage, replace it right away: an inexpensive spare that restores proper use of the product press.
