The FAMA F2043 knife-holder pin is the original spare part for the FAMA model 8 (TS 8) meat mincer. Inside the grinding group, this threaded pin receives and centres the cross knife and the feed worm, transmitting rotation and keeping the knife pressed against the perforated plate: it is precisely this pin–knife–plate coupling that cuts the meat.

A pin in good condition is essential for a clean cut and for the service life of both knife and plate. Replace it when the thread is stripped, or when the pin is bent, scored or shows play: in those cases the knife no longer stays under the correct pressure against the plate, the meat is crushed instead of cut, throughput drops and wear on the whole grinding group increases.
