The sharpener cover, or hood, is cast in aluminium and designed for RGV slicers models 22, 25 and 275 GS CE. This cover shields and protects the sharpener assembly, the unit that lets you hone the blade without dismantling the machine, keeping it safe from knocks, dust and processing residue.

Being cast aluminium, the cover is sturdy and withstands the wear of everyday use in a shop or workshop, keeping its protective function over time. It is the same part that completes the original RGV sharpener assembly, identified by reference 863.

Replacement is recommended when the original cover is cracked, broken or deformed: in that case the sharpener assembly is left exposed, which can affect both safety and durability.
