The aluminium sharpener cover is the lid that covers and protects the sharpener unit on RGV Dolly 220/250 slicers, that is, the part of the blade-sharpening mechanism that stays exposed when the sharpener is not in use or during transport and cleaning of the machine. Made of aluminium, it combines lightness with rust resistance, qualities that make it suitable for frequent use in environments such as kitchens, butcheries, delicatessens and catering businesses.

Its function is purely protective: it closes off the sharpener unit, shielding the grinding wheels and internal mechanism from dust, accidental knocks and dirt, helping to preserve their efficiency and safe use over time. This is a specific component for the RGV Dolly 220/250 model (ref. 809), not to be confused with sharpener covers made for other models in the RGV range.
