The RGV graduated slice-thickness knob is the rotary control that adjusts slice thickness on RGV meat slicers. Turning it moves the gauge plate relative to the blade edge: the graduated scale stamped on the knob lets you set the cutting thickness precisely, from paper-thin slices up to about 15 mm (0-15 mm scale).
Compatibility:
- RGV slicers mod. 300 / 350 / 370 (including the Lusso 300 series versions)

When to replace it: it should be replaced when the knob turns freely without engaging or does not hold the set position, when the graduated markings are worn or illegible, when it is cracked or has slipped off its pin, or when the thickness adjustment no longer responds correctly. An intact knob is essential to obtain uniform slices and to properly close the plate back into the safety position at the end of use.
