The stainless steel tie rod mod. 350 is the threaded rod that secures and holds the blade cover (blade guard) in position on the model 350 gravity slicer. The blade cover is the safety guard protecting the non-cutting edge of the blade plate: the tie rod clamps it firmly to the body, keeping it aligned during use and during cleaning.
Made of stainless steel, it resists corrosion from acidic food residues and repeated washing with detergents, keeping the thread intact and the clamping reliable over time. It should be replaced when the thread is stripped, the pin is bent, or play is felt in the blade-cover fastening: a worn tie rod compromises the stability of the guard and therefore operator safety.
