Closing disc, 8 cm diameter, for VIP 8G/07 grater. This is the disc that closes the grater head and holds the grater roller in place.
What it does. It keeps the roller aligned in its housing and seals the grating chamber: with the disc in place, the roller spins accurately and the cheese does not leak out. If it is broken or missing, the grater will run poorly and noisily.
When to replace it. When the disc is cracked, deformed or worn at the roller seat.
Compatibility. VIP 8G/07 grater. Diameter 8 cm: check the size against the disc currently fitted (a 100 mm version also exists for Fama GS106/GS107 graters).
