Safety shield between the hand and the blade during slicing: mandatory component, to be replaced if broken or missing. Hole centre distance 14.9 cm (measurement to check for compatibility). Replacement roller for the VIP 8G/07 grater, working length 11.2 cm, black colour (exploded-view ref. 38+40+41).
This is the toothed cylinder that grates the product (cheese, bread) by rotating against the feed opening: it is the grater's main wear part, since over time the teeth become dull and output drops. Replace it when grating becomes slow or uneven.
