This belt transmits motion from the motor to the slicer's blade disc. When it loosens, cracks or slips on the pulley, the blade disc loses speed or stalls under load, causing uneven cuts or unusual noise. Replace it to restore correct power transmission. During installation, check correct pulley tension and alignment.
