This is the resistive strip that heats up to seal the vacuum bag after the air has been evacuated. It is a wear part: with repeated cycles it oxidises or deforms and the seal becomes uneven or incomplete. Replace it when the bag no longer seals in a continuous line.
Supplied by the metre: cut it to the length of your machine's sealing bar. Check the width (4 mm) required by your model — 3 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm versions are also available in our catalogue. Replacement must be carried out with the machine unplugged.
