It maintains the seal, lubricates and cools the pump: essential for reaching and holding the vacuum. Replace it when the oil is dark or milky or the machine struggles to pull a vacuum. Check in the manual that the pump requires ISO 32 grade.
Vacuum pump oil, ISO 32 grade, 1-litre bottle. This is the specific oil for the oil-bath pumps of vacuum packing machines (chamber/countertop models), including Sirman.
What it is for. In machines with an oil-lubricated pump, the oil maintains the internal seal, lubricates and cools the pump: it is what makes it possible to reach and hold a deep vacuum. With use the oil gets dirty and emulsifies (it absorbs moisture) and must be replaced periodically.
When to change it. When the oil is dark or milky, or the machine struggles to pull a vacuum. Follow the intervals specified by the pump manufacturer.
ISO 32 grade. This is the viscosity typically required by these pumps: using oil of the correct grade prevents loss of performance and wear. Check in the machine's manual that it requires ISO 32 oil.
