Slide-slot cover for RGV slicers mod. 220/250 (22/25 series): a suction-cup style cover for the guard slot, made of food-grade black Riblene, with a 15 mm hole and a 70 mm outer diameter. It closes and protects the slot in which the carriage pusher arm slides (the arm that holds the food against the blade), preventing slicing residues, liquids and dust from settling inside the sliding seat.

When to replace it: over time and with repeated washing the cover can crack, deform or lose elasticity and no longer seal the slot: at that point dirt gets into the pusher guide and its movement becomes stiff or uneven. It is an inexpensive spare worth renewing as soon as it shows signs of wear, also to keep the machine hygienic in areas close to food contact.
