The slider slot cover is the protective cap in food-grade black Riblene (polyethylene) that closes the slot along which the food-carriage slider runs on gravity slicers mod. 300 S.
- Material: food-grade black Riblene
- Hole: Ø 18 mm
- Outer diameter: Ø 70 mm
- Fits: mod. 300 S
Its job is to keep meat residue, grease and dust out of the slider slot, where they would clog the sliding motion and speed up wear on the guide underneath. It's a wear part: over time it can crack, loosen at the fixing point or come away entirely. If the cover is broken or missing, the slot is left exposed and gets dirty more easily, with dirt risking to reach the slider mechanism itself. Replacing it in good time is a simple, inexpensive way to keep the food-carriage slide clean and running smoothly.
