Fine/medium-grit grinding wheel for sharpening the blade of Berkel flywheel slicers. It is the wheel intended for finishing the edge: it works the blade after the coarse-grit wheel, removing the scoring left by the more aggressive abrasive and giving the knife a smooth, sharp cut ready to slice cured meats and other meats without shredding the product.

Compatibility: Berkel flywheel slicers, in particular mod. P. It pairs with the matching coarse-grit wheel (same 42x8x8 dimensions), which performs the first sharpening stage: together they make up the machine's sharpener assembly.
The wheel is a consumable component that wears down and "glazes" with use: when the blade no longer sharpens properly, remains dull or develops an uneven edge, or when the abrasive looks shiny/clogged, it is time to replace the grinding wheel. It is advisable to replace the fine-grit wheel together with the coarse-grit one to maintain uniform sharpening. Always check that diameter, thickness and hole match (42x8x8) before installation.
