This is the replacement abrasive stone for the slicer's built-in sharpening unit: spinning against the blade edge, it restores a keen cutting edge so your slicer keeps delivering clean, even cuts on cured meats and cheese.

Compatibility: Marwel and OCM slicers, plus any compatible machine whose sharpener takes a 50x12x12 stone. Before ordering, check the diameter, thickness and centre hole of your original stone — all three must match exactly.
When to replace it: fit a new stone when the old one is worn down, glazed (smooth, shiny surface) or clogged with residue, or if it is chipped. A worn stone sharpens slowly and unevenly and the blade loses its edge quickly. With a fresh stone a few seconds of sharpening are enough; always sharpen with the blade clean and degreased to avoid clogging the abrasive.
