(30) (31) magnet holder with magnet and grain
Magnet holder with magnet and grub screw (ref. AGWS2063 / AGWS2395) for the magnetic interlock safety system. Compatible with Fama VIP 8G07, Mignon and Simple GS106/GS107 graters. The grub screw adjusts the magnet position relative to the micro switch.
The magnet holder with magnet and grub screw (positions 30-31 in the exploded diagram) is the mount that houses the permanent magnet used by the magnetic interlock safety system on professional cheese graters. The grub screw locks the magnet in its seat and allows fine adjustment of its position relative to the magnetic safety micro switch, ensuring the correct trigger distance for the sensor.
- Reference codes: AGWS2063 / AGWS2395
- Compatibility: Fama VIP 8G07 grater, Fama Mignon grater, Fama Simple GS106-GS107 grater
- Function: houses and secures the magnet of the hand-guard safety interlock circuit
Replace it when the magnet is loose or out of its seat, or when the grater starts or stops intermittently due to a detection fault in the magnetic micro switch — a typical symptom of a worn holder or a loose grub screw causing misalignment.
