Finger guard on the plate for RGV GL195, Luxor 200 and Luxor 220 gravity-feed slicers (code 482). This is the guard fixed onto the plate (the food-carrying tray) that shields the hand from the blade edge.
What it's for. Together with the food pusher, the finger guard on the plate is a safety component: it acts as a barrier between the hand and the blade while guiding the product, especially towards the end of the piece. If it is broken or missing, the machine must not be used.
Fitting data. Hole centre distance 100 mm: this is the measurement to check for compatibility, as finger guards vary from model to model.
Compatibility. RGV GL195, Luxor 200 and Luxor 220 slicers. This is a different part from the food pusher's finger guard and from the carriage guard: compare the shape and hole spacing (100 mm) with the one fitted.
