What it's for. On gravity slicers the food pusher pushes the product (cold cuts, cheese, roast) toward the plate and blade in a steady, safe manner, especially as the piece gets shorter: it lets you slice right to the end without bringing your fingers near the edge. It is therefore also a safety component.
What's included. The complete assembly — not just the hand guard — with the PVC arm. It is removable for cleaning (dishwasher/hand washable). Replace it when the original assembly is broken, deformed, or no longer slides smoothly.
Compatibility. RGV gravity slicers 195 / 220 / 250, including the RGV 25 Special Edition Red. PVC version (aluminium variants exist for other models, e.g. Lusso/Lady). If you only need the hand protection, the food-pusher finger guard for the same model is available separately.
