The mincer plate, together with the cutting knife, determines the final grind: a 6 mm hole suits fine mincing, sausages and mixes. Replace it when the holes become enlarged or rounded, the meat comes out shredded rather than cleanly cut, or the surface facing the knife shows wear or rust. Before ordering, always check that the diameter (61.5 mm) and number of drive slots (2) match your original plate.
