V-belt drive belt, 6x300. Section (height) 6 mm, length 300 mm. This is the belt that transmits motion from the motor to the machine's working component.
What it's for. The V-belt runs seated in the groove of the pulleys: it transmits rotation (for example motor→blade or motor→gearbox) by gripping on its sides. It is a wear part.
When to replace it. When the belt slips, is cracked, glazed or stretched, or the machine loses power/makes noise. It is also worth checking the tension and the condition of the pulleys.
How to choose. V-belts are identified by section and length: this one is 6x300. Measure the belt currently fitted (or read the code printed on it) to choose the correct one; other lengths are also available, for example 6x352.
