Safety shield between the hand and the blade during slicing: mandatory component, to be replaced if broken or missing. Hole centre distance 14.9 cm (measurement to check for compatibility). Specific to FAC/Swedlinghaus, not interchangeable with RGV models.

Wear part: replace when it slips, is cracked, glazed or stretched. Identify the belt by section and length (measure the one fitted); other lengths also available, e.g. 6x300.
V-belt (trapezoidal section) drive belt, 6x352. Section (height) 6 mm, length 352 mm. This is the belt that transmits drive from the motor to the working unit of the machine.
What it does. The V-belt runs seated in the pulley groove and transmits rotation by gripping with its side walls. It is a wear part, subject to slipping and ageing.
When to replace it. When it slips, is cracked, glazed or stretched, or the machine loses power or becomes noisy. Also check belt tension and the condition of the pulleys.
How to choose. V-belts are identified by section and length: this one is 6x352. Measure the belt fitted on your machine or read the printed marking to pick the correct one; other lengths are also available, for example 6x300.
