Motor gear (spare part code 044) for RGV Ausonia 190, Ausonia 220 and Ausonia Q228 190/220 slicers, also compatible with the Smarty 170 model from the same range.
This is the double transmission gear that transfers motion from the motor to the blade assembly: the large ring gear meshes with the reduction gear, while the small pinion drives the blade. It is a wear part, among the most frequently requested spares.
Technical specifications:
- large ring gear: diameter 42.5 mm – 40 teeth;
- small pinion: diameter 15.5 mm – 10 teeth;
- overall height: 32 mm.
When to replace it. If the motor runs but the blade doesn't turn, turns jerkily, or an unusual grinding noise can be heard, the gear teeth are likely worn or stripped: replacement restores correct power transmission. To extend its lifespan, keep the gear clean and lightly lubricated.
Always check the 044 code and the tooth measurements against the original part before purchasing, to ensure full compatibility with your slicer.
