Star blade (4-point cutting knife, spare part code 110062) for the RGV Duetto Plus and Duetto V multifunction kitchen machine. It is the cutting knife used in the machine's meat mincer and tomato press functions.
How it works. The star blade rotates in contact with the perforated plate (disc): food pushed into the mouth is finely cut by the points of the knife and pushed through the holes in the disc. The knife and plate always work as a pair and wear together.

When to replace it. If the meat comes out crushed or mashed instead of cut, or if the machine struggles or overheats, the blade is worn out: a sharp blade guarantees a clean mince and reduces strain on the motor. For optimal cutting, it is recommended to replace the blade and plate together.
