Basket ring complete with brushes, original spare part for the Sirman Ektor juice extractor (exploded-view number 18). It is the ring that holds and centres the filter basket and carries the cleaning brushes: during extraction the brushes continuously scrape the wall of the rotating filter, preventing the pulp from clogging it and keeping juice yield constant.
The Ektor is a low-speed cold juice extractor for fruit and vegetables, with a stainless steel outer frame and a 400W motor. The brush ring is a wear part: when the bristles wear down or deform, the filter clogs faster, the juice comes out cloudy and the machine struggles. Replacing it restores the basket's automatic cleaning and the original output.
