The press unit (pressamerce group) is the complete slicer press-arm assembly: the part that holds the food (cold cuts, cheese, roasts) firmly in place and pushes it against the blade during slicing, letting you slice right down to the last piece without bringing your hands near the blade. It's an essential safety component as well as a slicing-performance one: a worn press unit, or one with a weakened spring, no longer presses with enough force, leaving the food free to shift and forcing the operator to help with their hands - a clear safety risk.

This press unit is specific to gravity-feed slicers mod. 300/350, in the Dolly and Lusso 300 domestic versions. Arm length: 290 mm.

Replace it when the arm has excessive play, the spring has lost tension, or the pusher no longer holds the food firmly in place during slicing.
